Control
Strengths:
•The website is organized
with tabs both vertically and horizontally which break down the site into
men’s, women’s, kid’s, shoes jewelry, wedding and factory. Along the side tabs
such as New Arrivals and look books are featured.
•The consumer has full
control when navigating due to the clearly defined categories along the top of
site.
•As consumers maneuver
though the site, the tabs remain on each page in order to make navigation to
another department easy.
•Once you click on a tab it
brings you to a separate page where the marketing is featured for that
department. From there, you can chose which category within the department you
would like to browse.
•Each classification in the
department is broken down into a sub class for example boy’ t-shirts are broken
down into striped tees, layering tees, basics tees, polos and graphic tees.
Weaknesses:
•The site has a lot of
information and tabs on their homepage which can be a bit overwhelming.
•The fact that you have to
enter the department tab to browse categories is a bit unnecessary. It would be
much more efficient to have a drop-down box when you wave your mouse over the
department tab.
•You can only navigate by
price in the sale area which makes browsing more time consuming for customers
looking for a specific price point.
