Fraud and Security

•J.Crew use 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of online order information. SSL technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than J.Crew.

•The company does specify that 100% security can never be guaranteed. But asks consumers to safeguard passwords.

•J.Crew does use customer shipping and zip code information for marketing, promotions, sweepstakes etc.

•Customer information may also be shared with 3rd parties if J.Crew has employed them for a project.

•Only browsers that use the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer protocol are able to order through the J.Crew’s website.

•When customers proceed to the check-out page, they will see HTTPS in the url link which verifies that the site is safe.
