Editorial and Descriptive Writing:

•J. Crew uses their editorial and descriptive writing to capture the consumers attention.

•Garments are personified though the use of human names such as the Eddie Bag.

•On each garment’s page, there is a blurb about the garment with the inspiration, special characteristics, sizing, fit, care instructions and trimming details.

•The editorial writing tends to be cute catch phrases that add something to the large photos.
